Yeah, I'm sure that's true.

I fucking love the Marx Brothers
Continue.

Freaks and Geeks was NBC. Not that NBC is a bastian of artistic integrity itself.

Nah. This was from the mid-0eighties. More of a mash up of Scooby Doo and Ghostbusters.

The 13 Ghosts of Scooby Doo
Once again, I get to revisit my childhood and experience deep disappointment. Woo-hoo!

I'm a fan of Oberst. He does a fun live show.

I got this a little over a week ago . . .
I don't see a way to search for specific film reviews. It seems limited to what's on the front page / the most recent reviews. Am I missing something, or is that just the way it is?

Shoe-Bootie! Yeah - that's the episode. But I'm pretty sure it was All in the Family because Mike was already gone by the time Archie Bunker's Place started.

Nd since I'm talking about Norman Lear, there was that episode of Maude that was one long monologue to her therapist. Another pretty good episode.

All in the Family
I can't think of the name of the episode, but there was an eighth season episode where Archie and Mike get locked in the basement and start drinking. Eventually, Archie talks about how his father used to beat him - but of course he felt it was the right way to raise a kid. That was the first thing I

The National didn't do much but go through their songs. They didn't change much or do anything fancy. About two-thirds of the way through the set, I wondered over to OK Go to check them out. Cause it was at night!

Return to Oz is fucking awesome, and that's Disney.

The Avett Brothers. This was the second time I've seen them live, and I've really enjoyed them both times.

I was at Bonnaroo
My favorite shows were the Gaslight Anthem, The National, the Flaming Lips, Conan O'Brien, the Avett Brothers, the Dead Weather, Caitlin Rose and They Might Be Giants. And I was surprised at how much I liked the Steve Martin and the Steep Canyon Rangers set.

The Best Line (out of context)
What the fuck am *I* going to do?

Last Year at Marienbad
I'm really glad someone else thought of this while reading the book. I thought of both that film, and David and Lisa, but for different reasons.

"Fuckin' in the Butt" and "Fuck Anita Bryant" are both awesome songs from those. I especially love the spoken part of "Fuckin' in the Butt" when he thanks all the members of the Mickey Mouse Fanclub. It's just amazing.

He also wrote "A Boy Named Sue" which is a pretty awesome song.

It was the season one finale.
