I noticed Mr. Rabin failed to mention the alternative verse that Garth Brooks adds when he performs that song live.

There are only a handful of mainstream country artists from the last twenty years that I find tolerable. Garth Brooks is one of them, but there is a hell of a lot of awfulness in his catalog - like "Unanswered Prayers". That song makes me physically ill. I also like Dwight Yoakam, Mary Chapin Carpenter and the Dixie

The video for The Thunder Rolls is incredibly awesome in some insanely cheesey over-the-top way. And the dialoguwe at the begining of the video is brilliantly awful.

"Fuck Christmas" is on there. The mix grows a little each year. I recently added "I Hate Christmas" by Oscar the Grouch.

As a Christmas Song
I always include "California Dreamin'" on my sad anti-Christmas mix every year because it reminds me of someone ostracized by the holiday, unable to relate to what's near to him, and only making a show of embracing the religious aspects of the holiday - for reasons of his own. I think it's an

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban. I guess they don't car if I say.

"Let's Not Shit Ourselves"
By Bright Eyes. I like it. It's very repetitive, but I often use it to open mixes. At 10:08, it barely meets the criteria, but it still wouldn't be the shortest one here.

My favorite moment comes as the Two and Fourteen are watching the screen. On the screen, Number Six walks through the lab doors to confront them. As he does, they both turn and look at the lab doors. Of course, he's not walking through it.

I kind of like The Girl Who Was Death - just because it's so silly and absurd and surreal. By that point in the series, a balls out batshit insane episode works for me.

My City is Number 37!
Is that good?

I LOVED this movie
Even though I'm probably way off base, there's one particular shot that reminded me a lot of Michael Snow's WAVELENGTH. It's been a while since I've seen this, but I'm pretty sure I'm thinking of that stairwell shot.

The Stepfather on the 15th!
I know that's timed to coincide with the remake, but that's barely enough time to get your hands on the DVD.

A Romantic Comedy?
There were darkly funny moments, but I would never have considered this a comedy. Maybe I should re-watch it. Now I feel like I totally missed something.

I usually like comedies of embarrassment (like EXTRAS, for instance), but I didn't like MEET THE PARENTS at all. Mostly it was because Stiller's character kept doing this stupid shit to himself. He would make up stories for no good reason. And generally he was trying too hard - both his character and as a comedian. He

I didn't tell you yet. Stay tuned. In meanwhile, fell free to leave a clever comment.

This sounds awesome . . .
But it's too far a trek for me to take.

My Obvious Prediction for How the Series Could End
Don takes on a third identity and leaves all this shit behind.

I caught the last ten minutes of this
I liked it.

Philly needs some bike lanes.

I also like the idea of any episodes with small victories coming in the second half of the series while the first half is filled with failed escape attempts. This order is emphasizing the story arc of Number Six's accepting that he is trapped in the village and deciding to tear it down bit by bit.
