Could they do that? In the beginning of the series, they made it pretty clear that "only one could break the spell."

Last night I kept waiting for Emma to get the actual phone records and have an AHA! moment where she realized Sidney has been lying to her (based on how often they repeat she has a built it lie-detector these last few episodes, she should already know).
I agree that an Emma/Ruby partnership would be interesting to explore further. As it is, Emma hardly interacts with a majority of the Storybrooke population in any significant way. How is she supposed to break the curse if she isn't helping them one-on-one?
While I enjoyed the Fairyback this episode, it does feel like they're wasting a lot of time on stories that won't matter in the end. Will the petty dramas of Storybrooke carry over when they regain their memories and go back to Fairy Tale World (assuming that will ever happen)? Is anyone going to care that Mary…
"Emma believing the heart is Kathryn's is just another example of how dumb she is."
