"I could give a shit less about the DeNiro/Pacino scene."

Can't you people see that this is SkyNet's most devious plan yet?!  Once these shaky, flabby, wrinkly, grey-haired killer robots come lumbering toward us, we'll lower our defenses!  And that's when they'll strike!

There's still a Pixies for someone to leave?

That's exactly it.  He's a rapper and a showman.  He is not by any stretch a wordsmith.  And so while he might put out a fun single and put on an over the top super-serious show (which ends up being funny because he's presenting this fluff as Absolute Genius), he's not "hugely talented" and the things he says are not

Fuck you.  He was a brilliant, extremely brave, exceedingly wise man.  If you want attention, try to do something great yourself.  It's just so petty and little for you to sit back and make sarcastic comments about how much this great thinking, writer, and philosopher meant to so many people.

I'm going to steal the term "clutch-the-pearls whining."

A very well written precis of the song's message.  But please don't use the term "cis-privileged."  It encourages them.

The final line totally made this the best comment on the post.

This installment is pretty disappointing.  Macklemore is an earnest, well-meaning guy who is not being ironic in his patronage of thrift shops, and who actually does think that the consumerist culture that hip-hop music promotes is a bad thing.  Al Madrigal, it seems, has become one of those Old People Who Just

"I could envision the horrible horrible female?"  Chip against "bad girl bands" and "lesbian bartenders"?  For a guy who seems to be a big old homo and who's responsible for some of the most "obnoxious fucking hollering" that I've ever heard, those are strong words.

Yeah, but it had Jeri Ryan in a form-fitting suit in it, so it was the best show ever.

That's surprisingly Luddite.  Do you have a DVD player and TV?

?uestlove has really let himself go.

But x isn't even a number.  You can't solve for it.

De nada.

They have this thing where they will send you the show on DVD. It's a shiny circle that magically contains the movie or show already streamed onto it!

Great interview.  S&A is one of my favorite shows of all.  Ha ha, you hipsters only hearing about this show now, I was there first.

Funniest hatesong ever.  I appreciate how much thought Ian put into this and how he gets it - as so few do - that this is only opinion.  If someone dislikes something you like, the world still rolls on, man.

"It’s an occasionally hilarious, sometimes boring, always bloated
boondoggle of a project, and it’s the sort of thing that’s at once
staggering in its ambition and hard to approach with anything like real
affection. It is, in places, masterful. It is also, in other places, at
once weirdly pleased with itself and too
