The Void is a really good Voyager episode (says someone who hates VOY with the heat of a thousands suns). It shows what it could have been. Shady morals, low resources, forging alliances and jesus h christie, Neelix says and does useful things!

My theory is; they're looking for a way to save face. They now have a treaty with Bajor and they can hardly disappear the most powerful Starfleet man in the sector, and lets face it, the DS9 crew would easily find their location. So they Cardies put some spin onto the whole thing. Though I imagine the trip back to DS9…

There's a scene in VOY where the titular ship fires a photon torpedo at a Kazon ship shooting at point blank range (for some reason) into a building. The torp should have (even if the ship's shields protected it) levelled the building and thirty miles of countryside in every direction. Silly, silly Voyager.

Same thing happens in Way of the Warrior. I also notice that the aft section of the Defiant's bridge is ALWAYS exploding and killing random crew members. If I was on the Defiant and was assigned to a console (with no chair, I might add) at the back of the bridge, I'd proper kick off. Even if it got me sent to the…

See also; The Visitor, following 'Way of the Warrior'. God that is a work of art. It was once voted the greatest ever episode of Trek. And I can't formulate an argument to disprove this.

DOUBLE YES. Watched it recently. It just builds and builds. The dread running through that thing was matched only by recently going to the cinema to watch Argo.

I respect the battle from Die more than I love it. Its important because they're actually looking to show these huge, sweeping conflicts rather than just the aftermath. But there's so many things wrong with it, the Romulan/Cardassian ships don't fire back and whenever the Defiant is doing it's thing, they don't even…
