In the SPOILERS Garak novel 'A Stitch In Time', Garak actually laments that his relationship with Bashir sort of faded away over time, which I assume relates to Andrew Robinson's feeling that the friendship was underutilized. Its a nice bit actually, since it really shows Bashir's character growth, along with Garak's

…no.

I think the best part of that is, unlike with Odo in these episodes, or Bashir in the Wire or whatever, there's no real angle to Garak's scheming. He's not really doing it for anything except shits and giggles. Which is wonderful.

BSG was also made up as it went along. i know alot of people hate the end, but I don't. I think you can use BSG as an example of 'winging it' paying off in the end.

4, 5 and 6 are the real winners. 7 has still some greatness, but its not as consistently glorious as the previous seasons. But hell, none of the seasons can be considered in anyway "bad" in any sense of the word.

Oi! That's my line! Seriously though. Here DS9 goes into the pantheon of great TV. it may be more hit and miss and episodic than say; Breaking Bad and the Wire, but it has pride of place on my awesome TV DVD bookcase of awesome (tm) regardless.

That 'old posh guy' is David Dimbleby who is the host of a political panel show called Question Time, which I loved. I was wondering if anyone watched the Beeb. I thought they did a pretty good job, y'know, before I went to bed…

You, sir, are hilarious.

I like QoS. I don't get the hate, its really overdone. I hope they bring back Quantum the organisation. They're a cool idea. I am reliably informed that SPECTRE was the equivalent back in the day and though they abandoned them for some films, they were a reoccurring villain.
