The Fall is a great film. Lee Pace is fantastic, and the cinematography is amazing. It combines different visual styles in a truly innovative way. I have no idea why anyone would compare it to PBS or British procedurals.

Actually you can't even draw that conclusion. He complains that all the nominees for Outstanding Achievement in Drama are… dramas.

I don't see why we don't. The Emmy awards for Outstanding Comedy, Outstanding Reality Competition/Non-Competition, and Outstanding Variety Show,  are all equal to the award for Outstanding Drama.

What an idiot. If there ever was an example of someone who has no idea what they are talking about (as well as being completely biased by their narrow range of friends), it would be that author.
