HAHAHAHAHA! This one guy didn't so much get murdered as he walked face first into someone holding an ax.

Well the reason is obviously that DeCoteau wants to spray five guys with a hose. But there's no narrative reason for it. In fact, the sequence causes a continuity error since one of the guys is supposed to be wondering around the woods when it occurs… but no one ever claimed DeCoteau cared about stuff like continuity.

I like how every single one of his movies has precisely one female character, as if her presence will cause people to not notice the fact that 99% of his movies are just men wondering around in their underwear.

And now we're literally at the point where he's spraying five guys in their underwear with a hose for no discernible reason…
