Which, really, is an awful lot of trouble to go to. Especially that harpoon thing. Just ask her out already! (And don't reveal the half-brother thing. Not that I'm approving of half-sibling dalliance, but I disapprove of it much less than I disapprove of serial/spree killing.)

If you don't like it, you can come back and yell at me. That's the Random Exposition Guarantee!

The guy was Cal, The Outsider, and he was an apologetic British type getting bullied by Sully. His girlfriend was Chloe, the Flirt, and all the guys were after her, and then after the "everybody is now a sympathetic human being" point, it was clear that they loved each other, and it was all sweet. When he was killed,

They took them out when things were healed [which left big gaping holes in my bones that then had to heal, of course,) so I dodged that bullet - although the big domed heads of the bolts were only covered by skin, basically, so I could have easily just rolled down my sock and shown them.
I happened to be in the midst

No. Not in any way.

I watched the whole series and really liked it. It swung from ridiculous (harpoon!) to unearnedly epic ("Last of the Mohicans" bridge death/suicide) to really fricking scary, and I also had a little crush on Christopher Gorham.

Thank you - it was in 2003, and yes, a few bolts through my leg and 6 weeks in a boot fixed me right up.

I grotesquely dislocated my ankle (outwards) by falling off a pair of stiletto heels, which AUDIBLY snapped my fibula up near the knee as well as officially breaking the ankle (although none of the bones that make up the ankle were broken - just severe ligament damage, as with most "broken" ankles.)
It is really,

So very tangential, but I found myself looking up NSYNC videos the other day, most of which I had never seen because I am too old (even older than Chris Kirkpatrick! Zing!), and man, the original, mostly CG version of "I Want You Back" when they are [mostly] still teenagers is just adorable and kind of hilarious.

All my best wishes to you, Bonney, and to the whole family!

They say she died one winter

Water isn't wet, it just makes things wet.

How exactly do you make money on luring motorists to their deaths? I mean, luring treasure-laden galleons to their deaths on coastal rocks makes sense. Are these motorists the new Australian Wells Fargo stagecoaches, carrying bars of gold?

Yep, I only go to Old Navy for summer shoe clearance (the great glitter jelly flip-flop bonanza of 2010, woo!), since I'd be about a 5X in their sizes. I've never looked at their site, but my observations of the fabrics in store don't encourage me.

I'm also a Roaman's mainliner. If I were 20 years younger, I'd be really into Simply Be. But I'm 45, and it's just a step too far for me and my gray hair. :-(

In malls, you have Lane Bryant, Catherine's, Torrid, Avenue, and the preppyish one I'm forgetting.
There are, however, several online/catalog plus size retailers that provide different styles of clothing - at various times I've been getting catalogs with high-end athletic wear (Junonia,) mid-range casual/athletic wear

They were foster sisters originally in the cartoon, although that just isn't discussed much at all. Flashbacks in one episode show that the Bentons were involved in foster care since Jerrica and Kimber were small, and Aja and Shana were their first foster daughters - four little girls raised together, complete with

I am reading it, and it's not the same as the film. It's updated with a few tweaks, but it's about, oh, 85% faithful to the original concept so far (2 issues.) I like it a lot. And I founded JemCon, the 11th iteration of which is in Philadelphia this year. (Had to get that in there, as always.)

I thought that was Boy Code.

And for what it's worth - probably not much, since if anything ever screamed "We are targeting both kids and adult geeks" it was The Lego Movie - both Wyldstyle and Unikitty are well-represented in the toy sets, and there are also lots of blink-and-you'll-miss-her female background characters in the sets and the
