We finally get to learn what Yo-landi meant by "Neill Blomkamp's making me a movie star".

Holy shit, that's fucking hila-a-a-arious. I especially love Saul as the stereotypical Jew lamb.
I'm enjoying it even though I'm having a hard time following it all, which was also the case with The History Of Rome. I'll probably have to do some re-listening.
It's not exactly an excellent show but I'm looking forward to the second season. I've also started watching the second series of the British version, where Prime Minister F.U. (it's hilarious how his toady calls him that) clashes with a new king who actually cares about doing good things. It's going to be interesting…
This is my biggest complaint about the show. As much as I enjoy all the fabulous movie-star breasts and butts, I want to see some ugly naked people so I can feel that this show actually relates to me.
Now I know why Baltic is so cheap in Monopoly.
It reminds me of the Cigarette-Smoking Man.
Daughter switching sides felt earned to me, but I knew she was going to save Chalky once Dunn was on top. It was as predictable as Richard's sister saving him a few episodes ago, though I did have a slight suspicion that Chalky might not make it out. Too bad we had to lose Dunn, though; he was a great character.
One of the guys at the goose hunt looked a whole lot like Vladimir Putin.
Reggie always uses too much salt.
I hated this song when I was a kid. My mom had a subscription to a monthly VHS video collection and this was on it and my mother and sister played it all the time. The harmonies sounded pretty bad to me when I was 11. Now I think it sounds okay, and the lyrics are quite good.
I thought this was the best episode of the season. It's great that they're so responsible with the transgender storyline, when they're usually irresponsible about everything else. However, I really didn't like seeing the old woman being shot in the head, even if she was the worst old woman in the world. Jax should be…
I thought Don't Stop Believin' was great on the Sopranos finale but now I want it to go away.
Something something Gogol Bordello.
Janeane Garofalo is cool. I was listening to her on Todd Barry's podcast talking about how the last show she was on was terrible, which nice when most actors act like everything they've ever been involved with was perfect. (The show she was talking about was a spinoff of Criminal Minds. I watched an episode out of…
Allow me to be the first to mention that Gillian was going through withdrawal, not an overdose… and by "first" I mean "dozenth" because it's hard to search comments in this new system.
Yeah, that's who I voted for.
I, too, hope for Treme. People should talk about Treme more often.
I'm reading Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy by one John Le Carré, having seen both the 2011 movie version with Gary Oldman (which I barely understood) and the 1979 BBC miniseries with Alec Guinness (which I sort of understood). I don't entirely understand the book either but it's still mostly fun to read. I can't imagine…
I suspect that there really is no moderator to fulfill the promised task of rescuing the comments that were randomly blocked. It's like the comment section version of Waiting For Godot.
