Meh. Besides their penchant for collecting babies, Bachmann never had (or ever will) the political cache of Sarah Palin. And I might spend too much time on Wonkette, but the idea of her running for anything ever again still sends shivers down my spine.

I loved this episode even though it wasn't very HA-HA funny because it was eminently relatable.  I don't like playing online scrabble-like games because of that predictive crap and well, one of my favorite Futurama gags is when Bender goes around correcting all of the mis-labled "irony" in the episode. I try to keep

RE: "Stuff You Missed in History Class"
I'm still on the fence about these. They're are the perfect length for my not-too-long commute to work and while the variety of subject matter is kind of standard fare (Civil War/European Monarchies etc) I think they focus on interesting aspects of well-worn topics. Also, the

The bathroom attendant scene had me rolling. Roger's dance back and forth into the room for more night club accessories and his eventual huge tip at the end was so true to life. My favorite moments in the show are when Roger the alien is being the most normal of the crew.

And in that same scene, she directly acknowledgers her lack of "purpose" and clumsily mentions that is has to do with her dead mom blah blah.

The 10-15 min shooting range segment was utterly ridiculous. Not only were they being loud as hell, when for the past 6 weeks, they've been cautioning against gun use because of it's loudness. And then, they go and waste what, almost a 100 bullets in an afternoon? Ugh, fucking idiots.

In that same vein, now that Deb has been promoted, this was the first time I've ever been mad at Dexter for finding the murderers. Not only is his sleuthing barely interesting these days, but he's really fucking her game up and being an inconsiderate ass in the meantime.

All's I gotta say is: SQEE FINALLY! LES + BEN 4 EVAR!!1!

I post her as Donna Chang

Gah! I can't believe I didn't recognize my beloved Pam. Only character with a lick of sense on that show.

I just finished the episode and one thing that was glaringly missing from the interview was the "So, what's your background?" kind of questions.

3. The Dan Carlin ones, yes. The "Death Throes of the Roman Republic" series is dense but he's a really engaging storyteller and the material is very relevant to today's current political climate. "Stuff You Missed…" is downloaded but due to the fact that I'm catching up with all my other podcasts and for the headier

1. I'm actually really excited to hear Alec Baldwin's podcast. You're right that he probably has a formidable "rolodex" of rich and powerful people. Since Alec is rich and powerful himself, hopefully he'll be more likely to ask substantive questions of any controversial figures that he manages to book on the show.

"can a black woman, designing for black women, not win Project Runway simply because the aesthetic is not really accepted as a part of the modern fashion world, no matter how well done?"
Scatteredsong already answered, but just think about how many black women you see /walking/ the runway. Then think about how many you

This is where I make the obligatory "Guys, chill out, we can like both equally!" comment. Is there a Super Bowl of Sitcoms no one told me about? Pawnee Lil Sebastians vs the Glendale Human Beings?

How are you seeing it earlier?

Your parenthetical is closer to the truth. The production staff for this show is huge, and there were more than a few handsome gay dudes.

I had several crying spells during that movie and it had one of the best soundtracks. Very reminiscent of Philip Glass.

Your friend was talking about All-Stars. I worked on this season of Project Runway and Tim is definitely coming back next season.

phew!
seriously, this episode was hilarious.
