Maybe your right. I did have my own idea of where I thought it was going and didn't think such a strange left turn would occur. I don't mind a change of direction but it better be fun, season two wasn't as fun as season one.

Loved a few gags, a few throwaway lines, the batshit insanity of Will Arnett and all the call backs to other more successful work (Dave? Dave!). Also love the original sales pitch in the cafe (I have the strength of 20 ponies!), the snooker beat down, and the fart ringtone/smell app.
First season I'll agree with you visionary shit but the second was far too rushed to really flesh a lot of these things out.
I too love a dark comedy but that was just heartless and unnecessary.
