The younger tomboy was Al - and she was way hot. I remember in one of the later episodes she went to a college party with Dana and some jerk frat boy took her to his bedroom and she said "no!" The 12 year old LLanley was jealous of him, because damn she was cute.

Ahh TGUK … first saw them live in Madison in 2001. It was a great show at the Barrymore Theatre, and Appleseed Cast played the opener. I felt like that was the peak of the post '90s emo party. It all went downhill after that.

"Heroin" is a great song to listen to at dusk for some reason.
"Smells like teen spirit" (the album) makes me think of driving through Cedar Rapids on the way to Minneapolis with my parents for Thanksgiving in the mid '90s. I believe I listed to it via walkman (too poor for a Sony Discman, you see) in the backseat.
