I actually think it's underrated. It's bizarrely slow and contemplative for a mainstream comedy movie, but I think that's kind of awesome. I wasn't sure how I felt about it when I saw it in theaters, but I actually find myself wanting to re-watch it a lot and I've developed a really deep affection for it. It bugs me

Try Desperate Youths, Bloodthirsty Babes. I mean, I liked Dear Science too, but it's not necessarily the best introduction to their sound. A bit too dance-y I suppose. As for this news, I'm just bummed Sitek's wasting his time with a bunch of dudes who haven't written anything decent in two decades. He must just be a

Favorite Line
"And Keanu didn't understand anything."

I completely agree, man. On basically everything you just said. Especially the West Wing. Those last two seasons are amazing. And I hope the Michael Scott Paper Company arc is remembered as one of the high points of the Office by the time that show limps off the air.

Oh yeah. I always forget to count the last season of Gilmore Girls because of the replacement show runner. But there are no lulls in quality in the first six years. Pretty remarkable.

The Shield got better and better through seven seasons. Curb Your Enthusiasm has had seven great ones as well. Not to mention The West Wing, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Gilmore Girls and South Park. In general, your theory isn't bad. But there are quite a few exceptions. Also, as for the band comment, Radiohead, Built

Ron
After enjoying Seth Rogen as Ken on Freaks and Geeks and in the first few episodes of Undeclared, he officially became one of my favorite people in the world during the scene in this episode when he responds to Rachel's complaint that Ron thinks he is smarter than she is by responding that he KNOWS he is smarter

Aww, The Knights of Prosperity. I loved that show! Where's the DVD? And, by the way, at least that was better than the original title, "Let's Rob…" Wow. Now that is a horrible title.

I'll Try It For Bornheimer
Am I the only one out there who thought Worst Week was pretty great? That being said, Olivia Munn is easily the hottest and least funny Daily Show correspondent of all time.

That was easily the best episode of a mostly solid season. Glad it was in here.

Rabin, I'm pretty sure that Beavis and Butt-Head episode was actually the series finale. Weird way to go out.

It's A Wonderful Life
I feel like every show that never got around to the old "Christmas Carol" episode did "It's A Wonderful Life" instead. Hell, I'm sure we could come up with a few shows that did both. My favorite was the (I think) fourth season premiere of That 70's Show where special guest star Wayne Knight

Hopefully Boogard will be over his wuss-bag injury in time to play! We sure need him now that Callahan broke his hand.

Boyle's been a big surprise this year. He only scored, like, six goals last season and he's been one of our top goal scorers this year. And the dude checks like a motherfucker too. He's been a super reliable second line player.

Yeah, Jesus. But if you DVR a hockey game and watch it without commercials it's a tight, fun hour and a half show. And, even with breaks between periods it's only about two and a half hours. It's a wide open game.

Happy To See Hockey Get Some Notice
For what it's worth, hockey is my favorite sport. I mostly follow television, film, books and comics. I watch baseball every so often. I usually catch the Super Bowl. Basketball is fine, but there are too many damn whistles and fouls and there's no real team that I give a shit

That came out last year, bud.

Heh. The store has gotten more and more DVD-centric over the years, but there you have it. People do still buy music. Mostly classical music and shitty music and shitty classical music, but still.

STELLA
Please, please, please. I would be eternally grateful if you gave this perfect, sadly 10-episode short series its proper due. You could even talk about the shorts and stuff like Wainy Days in the Stray Observations. Stella is one of my twenty or so favorite television series of all time and I feel like not

Oh, please don't bring up the old Prince vs. MJ debate. I work in a record store and after everyone got over the shock of Jackson's death, that's all I fucking heard.
