Snubbing the Lego Movie is one thing, but how in the high holy hell did the Academy manage to snub Birdman for Best Film Editing? Did they actually believe it was all done in one take? If that's the case it has even more of a reason to be nominated, dammit!

Only thing about the crowd shots that bothered me was that Manjula is shown as a teenager/twentysomething, and then Apu & Sanjeet appear in the next (present day) shot

No Gus, I saw Giancarlo Esposito at a local comic con last summer and he confirmed he's not in the first season, but he did drop hints that AMC was thinking about a possible Gus spin-off miniseries

It seems like Agent Carter is only tangentially related to SHIELD since she's a part of SSR, which is a sub-division of SHIELD and isn't directly involved in what they're doing

There were a few good sight gags (Homer's list of humanity's achievements, some of the signs at Disneyland) but overall this episode was just horrible.

It varies but the most consistent side effects are temporary insanity and temporarily enhanced strength. But to be honest, the side effects change depending on the story - In one story, it's revealed that prolonged use of the Lazarus pits results in dependency (Al Ghul is shown to get progressively older the longer

There's also the possibility that we may see the kid grow up to be Red Arrow, considering there is some manner of time-fuckery happening on The Flash (in the comics Oliver has a son named Connor Hawke who takes over for him when he "dies")

This, I was pleasantly surprised when Sideshow Bob showed up in the second episode. It seems most of the new Simpson episodes seem to have the main plot/at least one subplot dedicated to "Lisa bitches and moans about newly relevant topic" so it was nice that for once the plot switched over from "Lisa complains about

This is how I think Season 4 will go, in terms of major events happening (SPOILERS):

He's Ramsay, the guy is a sadistic fuck who gets his jollies from watching people squirm. The books made him out to be the goddamn anti-christ (hunted down captives and fed them to his dogs, flayed people until they begged for death) I doubt he cares about several no-name soldiers from his father if it means he gets

I vaguely remember there being a Baby Blues cartoon adaptation on The WB back in the early 2000s, with Adult Swim airing reruns several years later. It was actually pretty good, hell they even got Drew Carey to do a cameo appearance as himself

Having read the comics, my hunch is that the information that the CDC guy whispered into Rick's ear won't come into play until well into next season, if the series progresses to the point in the comics where…

Army of Darkness could technically be considered a zombie film, that had a happy ending (disregarding the director's cut, however)
Zombieland, even if it was a comedy first, had a happy ending

I can't remember where I read it, but I clearly remember it being said that there will be an episode further down the road (last half of this season) dedicated entirely to Micahel Rooker — SPOILERS — I'm thinking he's been taken in by the Governor's gang, which would make for an interesting reunion when Rick and co.
