They really need to get the sword fixed on their impossibly huge statue though. Unless it's supposed to be like that for some reason.
I simply can't imagine that Shae's testimony is motivated purely out of spite. There has to be something more to it.
Unless half-remembered unsubstantiated rumors have failed me, I believe the whole Argo sequence was done solely to appease Patrick Stewart.
Was about to say the same thing re: Steampunk. I'm now interested in this show, based almost solely on this review, but nothing in the review sounds steampunk.
I actually think the second one is more interesting than the first. Not necessarily better though. And the third one flushed it all down the toilet.
Almost all questions of the form "is x better than The Road Warrior" have the answer "no".
Before the McConaissance did anyone really think his performance in RoF was anything special? Seems a bit retroactive to me. Then again I thought that movie was dull as shit.
Some people read faster than one word every few seconds you know.
… I'm not seeing the Dark Souls connection.
I think this might be my favorite episode this year. I love that they're beginning to show Hannibal as a being capable of experiencing loss and pain and regret. And the look on his face when he and Will are looking in at Margot… can't wait to see what he does to Mason.
I'll add to the pile by saying THANKS FOR THE FUCKING SPOILER ON THE FRONT PAGE OF YOUR FUCKING SITE!!
My condolences.
So you only want positive comments on all pop cultural subjects? A never ending circle jerk? You seem to be interpreting criticism of the shows you like as some kind of personal attack.
I'd like to listen to lyrics, but I often have a lot of trouble making out the words, even in relatively distortion free forms of music. I guess my brain is just dumb or something.
Indeed. MD is the last of a loose trilogy of films dealing with identity which started with Twin Peaks (both tv series and movie), continued with Lost Highway and finished with MD. Maybe Inland Empire could be included in this grouping as well but it's a bit less focused than the others.
I'd also make sure I'm at least 4 feet away from the person in question and aware of the location of all exits at all times.
I dunno, maybe he's being honest, but I have to believe his publicly released likes were vetted first. But more so I just kind of assume that someone in his position doesn't have enough free time to form any particular pop cultural preferences.
Of course you're right, had a brain fart there.
Well, First Contact is okay. I have a fondness for Generations that I think is based entirely on nostalgia. But Insurrection and Nemesis need to be chucked down the memory hole. And I've overstated my level of tolerance for 5, but I think 1 is mostly worthwhile.
