I'll go you one better and say that the series ended after Resurrection Ship Pt 2. Not that there weren't a few good episodes in season 2 after that (Scar is pretty good and I actually like the finale) but there is a sense of coherence and forward momentum in the series from the Pilot onward that stops abruptly as

"… the new policy … in the TV Club … is stupid and bad."

Marty's wearing a Division Bell shirt. The Division Bell came out in 1994.

I think it's likely that everyone who saw them in the housing project did see them as suspicious, but they were waving shotguns their around quite casually so there wasn't much anyone could do.

I can easily buy Rust overcoming Ginger. For one, Rust took him completely by surprise, smashing in his guts, which Ginger never really has a chance to recover from. Also, McConaughey (and by extension Rust) seems a bit more solidly put together than Joseph Sikora.

Yes I meant irredeemable, thanks for pointing that out. I've edited the post. Timelash and Mark of the Rani are the only stories in season 6 that I couldn't finish. They're just so dull.

I haven't watched any of these trial episodes yet, so I won't comment on them, but I wanted to say that I think season 22 is actually pretty good. While I agree that this era's treatment of Peri is awful and often difficult to watch (and her "American" accent is like nails on a chalkboard), I really like the

Also, the aliens would know better than to fuck with Earth if Danny Trejo's involved.

"JRPG"

No Nocturne isn't a side story, it's a "mainline" SMT game (though at this point there are more non-mainline than mainline games). Pretty much all of the SMT games are self contained story-wise, including SMT3. I actually haven't played any of the earlier ones myself, and SMT3 works entirely on it's own. There are

Oh, I'd forgotten about Snuggly. Yeah the requirement to zone out/in when trading items with it is unnecessary, it could have been instant and not harmed the game at all.

Yep. It was also released as "Lucifers Call" in PAL regions.

If you're looking for the absolute best SMT game it is, IMO, SMT3: Nocturne (for the PS2), also known as "Lucifers Call" in PAL territories. It's a little harder than P3 and P4 and it actually has quite a bit in common with Dark Souls in terms of minimalist storytelling and atmosphere.

My first time through Sen's took me forever and was very nerve-wracking. On every subsequent run I breeze through the place in less than 10 minutes. If you're just looking to run straight through it and not pick up everything it's really not that long or difficult. The worst part about it is probably that last bridge

I can't help but read this as sarcasm. Also I'm not sure what you're referring to with the cracked red eye orbs. As far as I know there's 4 in Firelink and 4 in New Londo Ruins, and you don't need to reset the game to get either of them.

I think SMT3: Nocturne is one of the greatest games of all time. Despite having a few game mechanics that, if I'm being honest, are more than a little archaic and poorly explained and player hostile. But the game just oozes atmosphere and the soundtrack is excellent and you end up feeling like an unstoppable god at

Well, I've always played online (but mostly hollow) so for me there was always plenty of messages on the invisible paths in Crystal Cave to show the way. But yeah, that is another kind of dickish area.

I assume you're referring to a PVP encounter? Yes PVP is utterly broken, both on a technical and balance level.

Agreed. And some of the best storytelling elements in Dark Souls are entirely wordless. Some examples (SPOILERS I guess):
* The huge bricked up entrance to Anor Londo in the Sen's Fortress boss area. Kind of suggests that Sen's was built after Anor Londo fell, perhaps purely to test potential Chosen Undead's.
* The two

Zweihander FTW!
