Sigh…

"strangely conservative"

Wonder what he'll make of the folder marked "Boys"?

(Yes I know this is the second time I've posted this. Bite me. I'm very proud of it.)

We can only hope.

HE IS THE ONE WHO DID IT THIRTY-FIVE MINUTES AGO!!

Yeah, I remember the doc mentioning during Pam's first interview that if she didn't comply she would be shot. I presumed that to mean that there were snipers constantly monitoring from the ceiling or something.

Yeah, this has been bothering me all season. The show acts like the UV silver bullets and anti-glamour contacts are enough to equalise the conflict between humans and vamps, completely ignoring that even baby vamps are strong enough and more importantly fast enough to kill dozens of humans at a time.

I read somewhere that that's due to some back injury or problem that Frakes has. It does however result in the most manly way to sit in a chair.

Yeah, I thought you were saying that season 6 of The Simpsons was the best season ever. Which is of course unarguably the case.

I recently bought and watched the season 8 dvd's and found season 8 to be really weird, tonally. It really is a halfway point between the genuis of 3-6 and the suckage of 9+.

Season 6 really is peak Simpsons. EVERY subsequent season is worse, although 7 and 8 are still alright. It's all downhill after WSMB Pt 1.

The question is: Will it coalesce into something interesting, or will it just be a big useless mess?

Can I just say that "Hepatitis V" is a stupid name for an illness? Like, you know the only reason they picked that name is because "V" rhymes with "B".

While I don't hate Firefly I've always thought that its geek mindshare is kind of overblown for a series with only 14 episodes. In fact I suspect that its enduring place in geek culture is due to 2 things that are not merits of the series itself:

Thanks for that article (which I've only skimmed so far but plan to read later).

IN THIS HOUSE WE OBEY THE LAWS OF THERMODYNAMICS!

@ObliqueStrategy:disqus Yeah I like Justin's performance. I get the impression that he came to the Shadows pretty much as is. I don't think they had to do much, or any "adjusting" of his personality.

Okay, where is all this "starfuries are fragile" stuff coming from? They seem about as durable as you would expect a space fighter to be. Especially in the B5 'verse where weapons technology vastly outstrips defensive technologies.

The next day it was decided to reassign Garibaldi to become liason with the Narn, where his interests would be stimulated and the harm he could cause would be limited.
