I agree that the guest stars made sense for this 3 part story, but it kinda seems like this whole arc was just for the purpose of displaying all the famous people Louie knows.

Dane Cook was a bad example, he did actually bring something to the episode, the sight of him just annoys me.

There's been a guest star at least every other episode.  I'm glad he's doing so well, but at a point it seems to be more about the spectacle of a famous person playing a weirdo.

Seeing Jay Leno was almost as annoying as Dane Cook last season.  The guest appearances in general, with the exception of David Lynch of course are getting tiresome.  We get it Louie, you have a lot of famous friends.
