It's sad that 'Smash' is going away, for all of us NYers.  They really tried.  Maybe they could have saved some money by having the regulars eat or talk somewhere else besides Times Square?  I'm no Broadway person but it seems to me I see a lot of them in Hell's Kitchen, not smack dab in the middle of tourist hell.

Awesome show

I hope this is only a 10 to 13 episode season. That 20 plus episode thing just doesn't work for high concept dramas anymore, they just end up getting stretched out and tired.

Are you a daily runner? if you burn your hand severely enough to have it wrapped the last thing you want to do is go for a long jog, with your freshly painful hand bouncing around like the rest of your body.

There's just no damn grit in this show. If this wasn't a Disneyfied version of NY, then I don't know what is.

I'd like to continue to see you doing reviews for Scandal.  I feel like this is the kind of show you should be doing reviews for.  It is a given that amazing shows like Mad Men will be covered, but it's shows like this, which can be amazing but also sometimes go off the rails that are begging to be dissected and

I thought it was a great episode and don't agree with the B

I have to say this onec was actually pretty enjoyable, in a bland way, but still. Some of the songs are still really good too. They shouldn't have hired Safron, I'm still expecting Georgina to pop up any second. His style is so lame.

Yes and I'll have to go with what one British Twitter user said about that show and apply it to this one: "It would be so much more interesting if the pool had no water."

This really sucks.  But I guess Amy's journey might have grown tiresome.  (probably not, just trying to make myself feel better).  Let the cult status begin.

Was that sincere at the end, or was that Dunham doing a parody of a Romantic Comedy ending, right down to the music.  Don't you think Adam running through the street with his phone on and shirt off just a bit much?

I realize this is a late comment but I'm just catching up on the third season now. I completely agree with you when you say this is the most realistic depiction of a single place on television ever. it would be easy to say that the general laziness and downright stupidity of the tv watching population are the

How about:  Ru, that soft lighting gives you such a halo, you could win the Papal conclave

Anyone could see that was the KGB testing them—but what Keri Russell's character did—that was shocking and amazing!
I didn't love the subplot with the kids but in the 80's that was a big thing, missing kids and Adam and all, so it fit.
This is a great show, let's hope it stays grounded and doesn't go off the rails

Here's hoping "The Killing" will make this list with a great season 3.

I saw "End of the Rainbow" at the Belasco.  Put that woman who played Judy on the show.  She would chew 'em up and spit 'em out.  Also, Jimmy and his writing buddy living in "Brooklyn" really smacks of Dan and his wet noodle family living in "Brooklyn" in Gossip Girl.  Thanks a lot Safron.  He should stick to the
