Re fake band names, point well taken, but Lost's Drive Shaft (and their big hit, "You All Everybody") were *knowingly* bad, and in that sense, very good names.

Fringe had mythology almost every week - mixed in with the Cases of the Week - and as such, fell prey more to the vicissitudes of scheduling and uncertainty over renewal. POI only has "Cases of the Week" and "Mythology Episodes," period, which makes it more frustrating to watch, but perhaps easier to follow and less…
I appreciated how Finch was much gimpier in the 2010 flashback (ie almost the whole episode), as he would have been compared to 2014.
Hello?? Buck Rogers in the 25th Century??
ROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT
Cheer up, next week is another mythology episode. The great thing about POI is that you can skip the procedurals and not miss a goddamn thing about the mythology…
One last thing… did anyone find it ironic that Michael Eklund was playing the dude, considering how he posts nothing on his Twitter but selfies?
"Almost Human isn't great, but it is far more consistent and entertaining than early Fringe episodes."
I'm not a Fox exec so I don't know what they have in the pipeline or if they are happy with whatever meager 18-49 points they can get in this day and age. However, although I personally don't like the show much, I would probably order another 9 episodes or something, but I would ask for some changes.
Maybe they need a showrunner change. (Uh-oh, I just went there.)
Joel Wyman and his writing staff seem to think that what worked
charmingly for Fringe — being vague about the details of the Alternate Universe — will work the same way on Almost Human. The problem is that the entire story of AH is set in 2048, therefore 2048 has to actually
have some sort of internal logic to it. …
So, serious question: If everyone hates this show and it went out with a whimper, why is this reboot happening?
fuck yeah!
Yes, but he did the voice of the Worker of Secrets in the latest Infinity Blade.
Let's have another song!
Anna Torv's cable show hasn't actually been picked up. In fact the pilot hasn't even been filmed yet.
John Noble said they told him the twist from the beginning.
Your reaction is common. Fringe is a bit unfocused for the first half of Season 1. If you don't like it by the first 8 episodes of Season 2, you won't ever like it.
"As I understand it, John Noble wasn't even supposed to be a recurring
character, but they just liked the reaction and his work so much they
brought him back."
I'm totally expecting Abbie's mother or father to be another one of the Horsemen. We're seeing a trend of the Horsemen having personal relationships to Ichabod, so why not to Abbie?
