Yup.  I remember being a kid 5 or 6 years earlier and getting the shit scared out of me by commercials for "The Exorcist"…on TV.

Alien 3 had such a troubled preproduction history that I (grudgingly) give Fincher credit for it being as decent as it is.  I remember quite clearly hating it intensely as I watched it in the theater, but I've softened over the years, especially reading about all of the Development Hell it went through.

What if they made an Alien prequel and nobody came?

I had heard that the studio got the ending Hemingway quote added, and the "I agree with the second part" line.  Somehow they felt that made it not so dark.

Yes!  "Warrior" was really good and surprisingly moving. And "Rise of the Planet of the Apes" was so much better than it could have been - kudos to all involved for having a point in restarting that franchise.  And including all of the callbacks to the original, especially a little Mars mission action going on in the

Gwyneth Palrow dies in "Contagion".  And they flash back to it…multiple times.  What more heartwarming of a film could you want?

But is Nic Cage in it?
