Fun fact: Olive Garden ditched that "When you're here you're family" slogan over a year ago. Jimmy Fallon has been using it ever since.

I'm waiting for his tribute to Walker, Texas Ranger.
And what a death it was. RIP Nino.
Thursday - After a Thanksgiving dinner that couldn't be beat, I settled into a Netflix double feature of Exit Through The Gift Shop followed by Children of Men. Of the two, I enjoyed Exit a lot more, even if it resulted in a bit of a debate as to whether the whole thing was an elaborate Banksy project/hoax, or if Mr.…
The Melvins would argue otherwise.
The one decision I regret most in life is when I decided to move from Portland, Oregon to Kew Gardens (Queens, NYC) by way of Jersey City, NJ back in 2000. Suffice to say I fit much better in Portland - I moved back here in 2004 (by way of Colorado and New Hampshire, because straight lines are boring).
This was the comment that sent me to Netflix, only to discover that it's not available streaming or on DVD.
…but not very loudly, so no one minds.
Did that factory (or those trailer parks) just get built? I'm confused as to how this is an issue now when it hasn't been (or at least hasn't been publicized) in years past.

Somehow I didn't know these demos leaked…and I'm kind of a Fugazi nut. Thanks - now I have new Fugazi to listen to on the way to work tomorrow.
Oh, to have the option to not come in tomorrow. Good luck with the busywork.
Happy day #2 of the least productive work week of the year. I've already caught up with my daily sudoku calendar (I was a few months behind due to work absences and busier days), and completed all of the automated training that I've been assigned through February. Anyone passing the time with anything interesting…
I'm really hoping this results in an appearance by the Grim Reaper (preferably voiced by Norm MacDonald) and some sort of "Road to/from Purgatory" episode…but my guess is it'll all be cleaned up with some time travel at some point soon (probably sooner than Peter Parker gets control of his body again…but that's…
If you didn't pass a kidney stone this morning, then no.
I was going to take the day off, but felt like a chump using 8 hours of PTO when I could just show up 45 minutes late and do nothing all day.
That asshole in my news feed was the Huffington Post.
I add Ten Grand, Superior Foes of Spider-Man and The Star Wars (Lucas' first draft) to round out the top five these days.
