I noticed Sheldon is often politically incorrect and goes along by a lot of exaggerated stereotypes. It reminds me of his mother, so it wouldn't surprise me if he made the tea like that. He might be super smart, but he is not culturally aware of many things surrounding him.

I just don't know if coaxed by your friends to try work with your relationship instead of having the initiative yourself, ruining an amazing scene with sex and keep going at it all thorough the episode is a good thing.

Sad it wasn't like that before. There was a time where Bernadette's logic about his brain getting a wedgie was believable. Now he seems to be more aware of certain stuff and his deliveries are more cutting and sharp, whereas before they were just calm and indifferent.
