    See, I don't agree with that. The character needs to exist on the show so Hank can be Walt's brother in law (which is a great set-up.) Her character needs to exist and the role is completely natural, there's just not much for her to do but be a wife and sister. They tried to give her more than that and it didn't work,

    I'd argue that Marie's kleptomania is more of a plot thread that fizzled (and was probably a misstep to begin with.)

    To be devil's advocate here- I think last season used her pretty well, at least in the episode where she was trying to sabotage Don and Megan's relationship.
