This movie transfixed me from start to finish.
This movie transfixed me from start to finish.
may the gods continue to shower blessings on you and your entire household brother.
May the gods bless you brother
The world will hate you because it hated me first. Don't be surprised when everybody turns against you…
Coming from a third world country, it's laughable to make the claim that there is legitimate persecution of Christians or any other religious groups here in the United States. But I have noticed mocking Christianity is more fair game than other religious beliefs. Make of that what you will.
I think I stopped listening after the self proclaimed Christians who were indeed speaking up weren't saying anything constructive, or Jesus like. I blame them for the uptick in article titles such as this one.
Dig your own grave, as they say.
Would the authors of this piece still had titled it the same if instead of Jesus, the songs were about Allah, Buddha, Science, etc?
Nope. It's interesting how supposedly Christians are the most intolerant people in society, yet time and time again it is shown the Christian faith is the one who is most outright mocked…
Eh, maybe for the best. A movie featuring every single character from these properties would either end up being 10 hours long, or 150 minutes, in which characters have no dialogue and they just punch each other and blow things up.
This series should live forever.
I LOVE THIS SERIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Last night, I dreamt of Quintus Lentulus Batiatus.
Greetings brother.
You speak truth, as emotionally draining is the perfect phrase to describe such a show.
The recent Walking Dead talk about killing off characters has made me think about Spartacus again.
That show killed off main characters left and right, yet nobody ever seemed to make a big deal out of it.
I think…
Bravo
The plot of this movie seems to have been lifted out of some unknown Greek tragedy.
The final sequence, in which the family sits down to have dinner, remains one of the most cathartic and tragic moments I can recall ever witnessing in a movie.
It must be a matter of taste then!
It is not a matter of taste my friend.
Not once have I implied "this show blows, watch that one instead" or anything along those lines.
I simply stated that I watch television series once they are over the way its creators intended them to.
I think I get what you're getting at here, and I'd never look at it that way.
Because I'm more of a film fan than a tv one, it does not seem right to me to get at the end of a season, *knowing* there is much story to be consumed, but that I won't be able to because it was cancelled.
To me, it's like reading a book only…
But in film you know exactly what you are getting.
Boy meets girl, boy falls for girl, boy gets girl.
They are self contained moments within the narrative. That is what you sign up for and what you get.
In tv, it does not work like that.
While it can be more rewarding, as boy can meet another girl or stuff along those…
Why do you have to go and call my opinion "stupid"?
Disagree with it, sure. Give me your argument and dismantle mine. Tell me all the reasons why I should watch the show, etc, etc.
But please, do not dismiss it with an insult.
Reasoning does not seem as sound once you begin it by calling it names.
If movie happens, you have my eternal vow that i shall binge watch season 2 and 3 as soon as possible.
