The Doberwoman has escaped the pound for a while, so I'm mercifully spared having to finish up Chariot with her.

I hear you on the concave PS4 sticks. What the hell were they thinking? Playstation's controller has always been my favorite, but this one is a step backwards.
Sorry, I forget that some people also consider playing on laptops to be PC gaming. :)
Spoiled kids?
If you're hunched over, you don't have your desk & peripherals set up correctly.
All of my friends are (as you describe them) PC master racers and we ALL play on desktop screens. (Mostly. We've all got decent gaming systems hooked up to our TVs as well for lighter fare, but our main gaming systems are done on desktop monitors.)
I imagine that the weekend will be like much of the week was: Me watching the Doberwoman playing Forza Horizon 2 and wishing that my expensive Fanatec setup worked with my One.
There's a difference between needing to be online to play a game that's part MMO, and needing to be online any time you want to play anything.
I'm trying, I really am, but it seems that Persona 4 is just not for me. I'm not very far in, having just added Yukiko to the group, but fuck, based on the glowing comments by many people here I was expecting an engaging game and not just a "Press X" simulator. Hell, it's not even a "Press X" simulator. It's just…
Caroline, nobody's feeling the loss of Chevy Chase from the show.
I'm exactly the same way. I think I keep telling myself "I'll need these more at some point later, so I can't waste them now." but that later point never comes.
Who's playing Calista?
I'm a merchant / vendor at the Bristol Renaissance Faire. We've participated in RenQuest almost every year as a quest destination. We've provided clues and plot development, acted a bit, and last year were left to our own devices to improvise a task for the players who came to us. (They were retrieving a box from…
Where is Star Wars: Masters of Teras Kasi? That's the only fighting game I play.
The R&G script should be the biggest "YAY" in your list. Though, the Gary Oldman / Tim Roth film is the definitive version.
When I hear a story like this, my immediate thought is, "Why are these people your friends?" I have to assume that the teller is either so pathetic and in need of human companionship that they'll take any which they can get or they're also assholes no different than the people they're telling stories about.
My videogame system controlling my TV is the best thing about my One. I haven't loaded a game on my One in like three months, but when I'm in another room and can't mute or change channels with my voice, I'm extremely disappointed.
I did exactly that. It is none of the things you claim. In fact, I'm not sure I've ever heard a discussion where the critics (mostly Kumar) so totally miss the point of the entire thing.
My opinion of your understanding and taste in comics has just plummeted.
I'm surprised that someone who seems to understand the power of visuals would use so many god-awful fonts for the book titles in the category lists. I mean, personally, I love Comic Sans, so the "For Kids" section is alright by me, but man, some of those others … Braggadocio? Geotica? You want people to actually be…
