"Wow Joe Rogan is an asshole!"
"Wow Joe Rogan is an asshole!"
We read that two word phrase differently then. Fair enough. :) I don't assign anything more to it than "it's more popular than it used to be." Like you, I seriously doubt that broadcast videogames will ever be a thing of consequence, but within the subset of people who are inclined to like that sorta thing, it's…
You see his "Resolutions" post at the beginning of this year? http://www.penny-arcade.com…
Ooops, scrolled right past the match video embedded in the article. Musta just assumed it was a static pic and didn't pay attention to the play button.
"Growing popularity" means that it's more popular than it used to be. Which it is. Don't see anyone anywhere claiming that it's more than a niche or that it will challenge other TV sports.
This is the 3rd game in her match against Bomber. From what I've read, it's considered one of the best Starcraft II games ever played.
I'm envisioning a Craigslist ad: "Give your homemade porn that professional polish! Call Popinjay-Z."
Yeah, I noticed that as well. This was … not one of the better pieces Todd has done.
Keeping in mind that the grades here on avclub are relative to ONLY the show being reviewed, I'd agree. This was a comparatively weak episode of Arrow (there's no way any episode with this much Laurel can garner anything higher than a C+) while SHIELD (while still being pretty crappy relative to just about anything…
In tonite's flashback he pretty clearly put himself in front of Sara. I thought that in previous ones we just saw him jumping forward, making it seem like he was just putting himself up for sacrifice. Did I miss that before, or were we given more of the shot this time?
Weren't we all?
Yeah, I kept most of the episodes on my DVR until the DVD came out. Seeing the way a person's flesh undulates when firing a gun or taking apunch ro whatever always grosses me out. :)
Dammit, I saw there weren't many posts and thought I was gonna get to make the first "That's a trannie and a budding trannie right?" comment.
You're not the only one. Though it looks like it was probably just you & me and maybe the actors moms. I think that, given a bit more time to really find itself, this show coulda had some legs. I saw the flaws that people pointed out, I guess I just saw a lot of potential as well.
Did you not read the paragraph up there? You quit just about when it started to get good. (And I can't blame you. Barely stuck with it myself.) It turned around on the back half of season one and has gone pretty strong all of season two. (Excepting, of course, any scene that involves Laurel.)
Yeah, when I read the opening of the paragraph on it, I was like, "There are people who don't like Orphan Black?" Who the fuck is that?
Can you pinpoint the exact moment in which you lost your soul?
I think you're being a little optimistic with that 99.5% there.
That's too bad because in the last few episodes Sleepy Hollow has turned into the most fun show currently airing. While SHIELD has sucked from the outset and not gotten any better.
I'm a bit late coming to this, as I hadn't had a chance to read the issue yet and didn't want to get spoiled, but thought I'd throw this out there in case there are any others who check this out late as well.
