You're being EXTREMELY generous with all three of those ratings.

Does Sasha Gray scream out obscenities dirty enough to make a sailor blush during the mentioned three-way?

For me, the farther removed from the "relevancy" of the source material for the parody, the better.  The more recent the target, the more it looks like it a plea for attention and an attempt to ride the coat-tails of something popular.  Sorta like having random "celebrity" appearances as themselves.  The Simpsons has

Absolutely agree.  You could just hear the self-congratulatory douchebagginess in his voice throughout this.  Starting with the first bit about how he managed to create an ENTIRE movie just in time to SAVE THE DAY and continuing on throughout.

Really?  I thought he sounded pretty much like a douchebag throughout.  This is certainly no Lea Thompson Random Roles.

Hey now, while that line was great, I've bought a surprising amount of decentish DVDs from the Wal-Mart $5 bin.  You've gotta be committed & dig your way past the Lorenzo Lamas vehicles and public domain collections.

@bcfred:disqus Link the article?

@avclub-21a8615938a206d4311a58a53ad8890e:disqus  I was surprised I'd gotten this far down without someone mentioning it.  Like the rest of the sickos here, I've seen a lot of these vids with varying levels of reaction to them.  The video of Neda is horrifying.  Dwyer and the like have nothing on that vid.  As someone

I'm hardly a "serious Van Halen fan" but yeah, Heche is right on.  That shit is terrible.

As much as my Comcast DVRs suck compared to the TIVOs I used to have, they work basically flawlessly as well.  If two shows (well, three, since I have dual tuners) conflict, it records the highest priority and then grabs the first available rerun of the lower priority.  I just make sure that the few network shows I

Now that?  THAT was funny.  Almost redeems the "exhale" joke.

No, not too soon.  Just not very funny.  There's two that are Much funnier upthread, and at least one more upcoming.

But if AV Club posters can't use internet meme words in their everyday speaking, how will anyone know how hip they are?

I, on the other hand, would like to see this type of review spread out and become used more here.  I know that it becoming the norm is out of the question, but I LOVE it.

Ah, what it must have been like to have been in a social circle where repeating a line you heard in a movie was considered the height of wit.

Yeah, American Dad is the best thing in the Animation Bloc by far (not as big a fan of Bob's Burgers as everyone else is, it seems).  At its best it's up there with Futurama & The Simpsons during their heyday.  Even at its worst, it's better than (most) current Simpsons and way better than any other McFarlane show has

Plus, if the entertainment industry is going to fail to entertain and will, instead, foist more Everclear upon us, perhaps they should focus their efforts and bankroll elsewhere.

Quit transferring your anger at your own childhood trauma to a cartoon.

I thought it was well-said enough that I liked 'em both.
