I have a hard time seeing an "agenda" in the way Blair wrote Animal Farm. It comes across, as I read it, as nothing more than a derisive laugh about the absurdity of Stalin's Russia…a laugh that he wants to share with anyone else perceptive enough to see what happened when "communism" was allowed to "flourish."

Apples and oranges, my friend. Besides, that's the place where any 'tard is allowed to post an unvalidated opinion and there's never an intelligent rebuttal. That and the NPR comment section are both places to simply be avoided in order to keep murderous rage at bay.

Those people don't exist, do they? I loved them from about 13 to 20, but I always feel a little bit embarrassed these days when I tell people that I still throw on their albums from time to time…strictly for the nostalgia value, mind you. …And Out Come The Wolves immediately takes me back to October 1995 and running…

I don't think it has anything to do with Casino "sucking." I enjoy them almost equally (Goodfellas still wins), but I have a hard time sitting through the "Sharon Stone shouting and being dragged away" scene every time I watch it. I can't decide whether I think that's an unnecessary or a "really good" scene.…

Okay, just tried those two links. 100% not interested; those don't even have the prog wankery that I'd expect, which is particularly shocking when the one is over eight minutes long.

Funny connection there. When I heard The Boxer the other day, my only thought was "Oh, that's Jerry Douglas…and someone else, but I don't know who." And he'll get zero recognition from M&S fans; what a waste of talent…

Here's the part where I just take the "selfish dick" attitude: Won't be my problem fifty-ish years from now.
