I thought Kevin was too harsh on her in last night's closing scene, although I did appreciate him getting some payback for her leaving him handcuffed to the bed and abandoning him after his confession last season. Her actions really bothered me and it never seemed to get resolved, since we didn't see them together

Okay…any particular thing that rubbed you the wrong way? I didn't see anything arrogant or elitist in there, other than the fact that she reads and acts in plays and has a selective taste in television and literature.

'Some people say the resistance characters are portrayed as "worse" than the actual bad guys (Nazis and the Kempeitai).'

I wouldn't say that right-wing nationalism is in Ukraine is "overlooked," since there were numerous analyses and mentions of it in any major news daily story about Ukraine at the time of the protests. It's that the fascist card is deliberately overplayed and exaggerated by Russia and used to delegitimize the whole

Yeah, but the people that the Einsatzgruppen were murdering in these territories were mostly Jews, something which the local population, if not embraced, than willingly overlooked. And you're right that utilizing these local partisans in rear "actions" rather than as anti-Soviet fighters was not a good tactical

Your characterization of Nazi rule is certainly true of the Eastern front, primarily Poland and the Soviet Union. And of course Jews were destroyed throughout the whole continent. But in the Benelux countries and other parts of Western Europe that they conquered, the Nazis certainly set up administrative and political

"Nowhere did I say 'Ukranians are Nazis.'"

You seem to be confusing race and ethnicity. Latino/Hispanic is an ethnicity referring to people from Spanish-speaking Latin America. Latinos can be black, white, mulatto, Asian, American Indian, etc. If you visit Argentina, Dominican Republic, and Ecuador, as examples, you'll see that the Latino ethnicity comprises

True. But I expect Cersei and Jaime will be around for a little while yet, rather than being burned to a crisp by dragons within the first episode next season, so it's possible Dani's invasion will encounter a snag or two.

Lol, I completely forgot that Theon and Yara basically stole all the ships and Euron is building a new fleet from scratch!

They're almost going to have to put some obstacles in her way. Otherwise, with the size of the force she's put together, PLUS DRAGONS, she'll conquer Westeros within days.

Totally within character. There was even storyline in AFFC where she hands some poor, hapless woman over to Qyburn for him to do experiments on in the dungeon.

Ugh…yeah, I guess we won't hear anymore about them murdering Myrcella in an act of vindictiveness reminiscent of Cersei or Walder Frey. One of my few quibbles with this episode was seeing the Sand Snakes enlisted in a cause that the viewers are presumably meant to root for.

Will be interested to see where her story leads. Did the Red Priestess whom Tyrion and Varys enlisted in Meereen join them on their way to Westeros? It would be interesting to see her and Melisandre meet up, particularly if they have conflicting visions of Dani and Jon's role in the events to come.

Good point about the Dothraki. It's almost like the writers want us think that their raping and pillaging was something they were forced to do by the leaders whom Dani killed, rather than something deeply ingrained in their culture.

To be fair, even if the High Sparrow had let everyone leave, they probably wouldn't have got far enough away from the Sept in time, since we saw people in the streets being incinerated.

Umm, well she didn't exactly have a lot of options in the situation she found herself in, so it wasn't the worst idea in the world.

I think that having Davos learning (or starting to suspect) about Shireen before the battle served to drive home his loyalty and resolve. When he finds the pyre, we wonder if he will confront Melisandre immediately and throw the already shaky battle plans into further disarray, but he postpones that confrontation

Yeah, as much as I enjoyed Ramsay's demise and was rooting for Sansa to exact revenge, I definitely felt conflicted seeing her give that smirk with sounds of dogs ravenously tearing into human flesh in the background.

Because after they voted for Euron at the Kingsmoot, the Iron Island warriors were all distracted, seeing if Euron would rise after being drowned. And I guess Theon and Yara had thousands of sailors secretly on their side ready to steal the ships in that eventuality.
