But this part you could easily hear: "some new mown chaperon was standing in the corner watching the young girls dance. And some fresh-sown moonstone was messing with his frozen zone reminding him of romance." It's was 70's, the lyrics were obtuse enough, so no one really gave a shit, I suppose.

Why even the unnecessary subtitle, Let's Do the Time Warp Again, literally spells things out. What's not to get?

Whatever happened to Queer Eye for the Straight Guy where five nice gents help out a poor hetero schlub potentially get laid? 2003 was such a simpler time.

I think that's the general point everyone is making, i.e. Frank wasn't supposed to be a super sexy trans character, but disturbing as all fuck. Casting a woman (transgender or otherwise) doesn't muck that up in and of itself, but glamming her up like Beyonce kinda does.

"What is the fascination with my Forbidden Closet of Mystery?"

Oh, now I remember, It was CAROL! That was her name!

I was wondering if on some level Paul was doing that intentionally to actually show Lindsay how humiliated he is as a way of getting back at her. After all, the whole bit with him talking about stuff in the paper while Lindsay was getting plowed seemed to be a pretty calculated thing he knew was clearly annoying

She left out the manny/peddy, but yeah, that was a nice chuckle worthy callback. I do wonder how far along she is. I know season 3 picked up immediately after season 2 but I'm still not quite clear on this. I would imagine around 8-12 weeks?

I knew I forgot one. Not exactly subtle was it?

Edgar is actually in a modest way getting his shit together. Of course as soon as we saw the blue screen we knew he was screwed.

Allan tweeted it was an episode his family probably shouldn't watch. The things you do for art.

The emojis were pretty good too: baby, gun (pointing at the baby), three pieces of cake, a bottle of champagne, and two playboy bunnies dancing. Nicely spells out a day for her.

That guy's got some stuff…

When Paul said he was going to "research cuckolding" I knew exactly where it was going, and boy oh boy did Paul not disappoint. Allan McLeod definitely deserves an award of some sort.

I'm sure you were pressed for time, but like many others, this barely scratched the surface. Not complaining, you get what you can get, after all. Hopefully you can get him again in the future, I've always liked his work and he seems like a good dude.

Yes. In general parodying people that specifically is tricky, and many times comes off as lazy and/or obvious unless there is really some trenchant point to it. With Scorpio, they used Branson, et al as a jumping off point to create a new character, and Brooks ran with it. Much more fun.

"It's a good thing you drifted by this brothel!"

Ah, "Cape Feare." The Sideshow Bob/rake gag will live forever in my heart, but I will also always have a soft sport for Bart and Bob's HMS Pinafore.

I'd put "Last Exit to Springfield" right up there

(Hank Scorpio is fending off an attack, a man on fire runs in the background…)
