After slicing and dicing the Crazy 88's in Part 1 (and O-Ren and Vernita), Beatrix kills exactly one person in Part 2*. Quite a contrast.
Oh man, a Waiting for Godot parody. Remember when they tried stuff like that?
"She's unhinging her jaw!"
"Blind Date" is the beginning of Jack's never ending project to help Liz, and it works well, especially since it thankfully doesn't lead to a running joke about Liz being a lesbian, Jack just gives a quick "noted" and moves on. Also, Liz's personal insecurities begin to be shown, and I think Fey hits the perfect note…
Whoops. I stand corrected. So that's all of them (from KB2) then.
It was pretty beobvious, yes.
"Hello! Before I got to know Jon [Lovitz], I was nothing, nowhere, nobody! I was stuck in a room reading voice-overs I could barely understand! And then, I got to know him, and now I get to be on TV! And today, they call me- DON PARDO!"
I think Pai Mei being poisoned was left out. There's quite a low body count in Kill Bill Vol. 2, especially after the carnage of Vol 1.
Excellent. I first happened upon Mara's site a couple years ago and have checked it every so often since. A very interesting woman. Also fun was her video with The Nostalgia Chick. https://www.youtube.com/wat…
How many people were saying, "I want some more Kilborn" by 2010? I think Ferguson has a bigger and more loyal audience at this point than Kilborn did by then
Sorry, What is Craig Kilborn already tried this back in 2010 (The Kilborn File) and it didn't work; I wish him well, but I think it's going to be a hard sell, Alex?

I guess he gets to channel Pig Virus from Private Parts once again.
As the show was less and less about the making of TGS, Josh's character fell victim to what TV Tropes would call "Out of Focus." This happened primarily because he wasn't in the main cast, and his role in the show wasn't really as a source of conflict with Liz (the excellent episode about his contract negotiation…
Yes, it's not like it's Brie's fault, she's clearly being a trooper here, but the writing is godawful.
It's easy to give a high grade to the pilot in retrospect, as we know how the characters wound up and we can appreciate the proto-versions of them, but judged on it's own it was pretty lackluster. Fey looked particularly uncomfortable trying to carry the show, and her acting chops were very shaky at this point in her…
"Please please. You've got to help me. I don't want to die. I've got so much to give. I want more time."
"A poignant plea sir. Enough to melt the stoniest of hearts. But the answer, I'm afraid, must remain: 'You're going to die, fat pig.'"
I like the idea that in "Duel and Duality" the "Duality" in question is not just Blackadder posing as the Prince, but also Atkinson playing a dual role (as Blackadder and McAdder). And as far as dual roles go in these kind of comedies, it works splendidly, and as a deliciously funny red herring at that.
I like the preface to George's death: Blackadder's "death"
