when the mytharc stuff is done well, i enjoy it more than the MOTW episodes but let's be real, it hasn't been done well since seasons 1-5. it's so frustrating because i love this show and it's impossible for me to stop watching at this point but it's also hard to watch them continually squander all of these potential…

he wanted to die, which tells me he would have broken soon and not by being tortured further. he's not happy with what he's done or what he's been forced to do and i think he would have caved and maybe even helped them and i don't it would have taken long to accomplish that, either.

so they spent a few episodes searching for gadreel and they finally catch him only to immediately turn him over to metatron without pumping him for information at all, really, and then they get cas back and they decide to split up again.
i realize the writers are doing it because they need cas to do whatever bullshit…
