But you're comparing apples to oranges here. There's a big difference between a cable spot that runs for 30 seconds among 12 other spots in a break and a podcast spot that's one of one or two sponsors, runs for a minute or two, is read/narrated by the host of the show, etc etc etc.
Yeah, and I don't think most people at MaxFunCon are there to see/meet me. I mean, they're happy to see/meet me, but they're there to meet each other more than any of the "celebrities" who are there. That's roughly true, but remember that's usually for pre-roll, of which there can be only one, and that whoever sells the ad usually takes about half. And that most of the ones you here over and over (Audible, for example) are space-filler, not paying that rate.
