I don't know if this has been posted before, but here's an interview with Jonah Weinberg and Louis C.K. from November 2011. Most relevant part is here:

An unexpectedly charming interview, on both sides.

"Boy Band" is probably my favorite, mostly because the song is so catchy.

As did that Kirby N64 game. I remember because I found the use of the D-pad baffling.

Does anyone want to comment on how much corporate culture influences these decisions? I'd understood that some execs want to "spearhead" their own thing at some point, and since Community is produced by Sony they might not be as close to it.

I had to do it in AP Physics in high school, except we were limited to only using toothpicks and hot glue. We had to provide an explanation of the physics behind our specific design (how force was transmitted, etc.), so it wasn't really busywork.

Are you actually talking about the PBS show Arthur, or is everyone kidding around? If so, how did the reference work? I haven't watched the show since they got that new high-voiced kid to voice him.

I was about to respond to this by saying that this would be tantamount to a reboot of the character and essentially undo everything that the study group (and audience) has built up with her, which seems cheap and very un-Harmon. But on further reflection, we've had "relapse" episodes with several characters: Troy

I feel like Annie's craziness is overblown. She's not actually psychotic or delusional. She just works and plans and sometimes commits too hard. Also, she's young, and most people mellow as you age. I'm guessing that what's left will be someone who's competent and organized but not obsessive. You need a wife like that

Kind of on topic, but did anyone else think for the longest time that Ramadan is always during December because of that one Simpsons episode where Krusty wishes his viewers something along the lines of "Merry Christmas, Happy Hannukah, Crazy Kwanzaa, and solemn, dignified Ramadan"? Is that what happened with VDW above?

Same with my treadmill. It just goes back to 0 if you ever cross 999 calories burnt. It just doesn't have the space for 4 digits.

Isn't Ramadan during the summer in 2012? That would be interesting and work with the hiatus.

It's an interesting question. I don't know whether NBC's executives would recognize that the show became popular without strict corporate oversight and keep letting it do its own thing or decide that such a valuable commodity needs the guidance of a strong corporate leader.

He was a generic cab driver on Seinfeld and (this is priceless) Nazghalia on Arrested Development.

Also, "Work It". My God. I don't even have a metaphor to describe how horrible that looks.

I'm watching the NBA opener on ABC and keep getting bombarded by commercials for the idiotic "Wipe-Out". Meanwhile, one of the best comedies ever is on hiatus due to low ratings.

In her defense, she also likes Freaks and Geeks.

I bought my sister S1 on DVD for Christmas. I had to stress the character development/relationships over the pop culture - because she likes Gossip Girl and the Kardashians - but hopefully she'll like it.

Fffff I can't return them. But I will keep this in mind, thanks.
