I'd also nominate Stiff Little Fingers, Minor Threat, Crass, Bad Religion, and, to a lesser extent but still worth mentioning, NOFX.

Threads is one terrifying fucking movie. Too bad it's not available on dvd (at least I don't think it is). I saw it for the first time freshman year of high school in science class and everyone was freaking out.
Nirvana on Top of the Pops, classic Kurt:
FrankenDawes.
What I want to know is how does this compares to the record sales of Dawes.
Or perhaps the Ghostbusters circle with a slash through it.
Boy, I bet this show will…not be good.
Florence and the Machine = the first one hit wonder of this decade?
Ruin Johnny's Bar Mitzvah. It's a live album. Far from their best, but it does have covers of The Longest Time, Come Sail Away, Stairway to Heaven(!), Superstar, and Strawberry Fields Forever.
There was a band called REO Speedealer who were sued by REO Speedwagon and had to change their name to the significantly less awesome Speedealer. That's about the most interesting thing about either band.
There are so many other things I should be doing right now.
Imogen Poots
Tee he he.
This Movie Rules
It's my favorite horror movie of the last 20 years. The no-longer new wave of French horror of the late 'oughts was pretty sweet. Also recommended:
Menace II Society
Way better movie. Haven't watched it in years, so I'm not sure how it holds up now.
I would rate The New Blood as the second worst. Though the last 15 minutes are a hoot.
Jason Takes a Boat Trip
As an actual fan of the Friday the 13th series, I can actually say without any irony that Jason Takes Manhattan is the low point of the series. It's tedious, boring, and inept….which I guess is what normal people think of the series as a whole.
"You think I'm awesome and I think you're okay"
That pretty much sums up every intimate relationship I've ever had with a woman
Tom Waits on The Eagles
"The best thing about an Eagles record is it keeps the dust off your turntable."
The Spirit of '91
I was 15 when Nevermind dropped. That seemed the perfect age to be around for that.
Miles Davis
In a Silent Way to On The Corner
