A Neutral Milk Hotel reference that makes sense on a Stephen King post? I think my head might explode.

I second the love for Maximum Overdrive. Not for quality, but pure trashy B-movie fun. A killer soda machine, the opening scene on the drawbridge, Pat Hingle's charcter just happening to have a full arsenal of weaponry under the truck stop, the steamroller vs little leaguer scene, the soundtrack by AC/DC, Lisa

The Lawnmower Man as one of his worst? Really? The movie blew, but I always thought the story itself was wonderfully ridiculous.

Cat From Hell
Cat From Hell was adapted into the second (and best) tale of the Tales from the Darkside movie. It was directed by George Romero (just that story, not the whole movie) and features David Johansen AND William Hickey.

Survivor Type

Chicks Love This Movie
Anytime I begin courting a new lass, I tend to get them to watch several horror movies with me (i.e., the original Black Christmas, Suspiria, High Tension). This is because it's great to watch a gal get freaked out by a movie, but also because I do watch a lot of those kinds of movies. And time

The Real Comedy Event of the Decade
Come on now, everyone knows the real comedy event of the decade was the advent of Dane Cook.

"a certain type of work that someone like Dane Cook is offered"
It really does seem like most comedians enjoy taking a least a passive shot at Dane Cook.

I Never Realized…
…that his character's full name in Die Hard was FBI Special Agent BIG Johnson. Tee-hee.

Yeah, but after those he did Slasher (a documentary about a used car salesman), and that was pretty neat. And one of the best episodes of Masters of Horror, Deer Woman (he directed Family too and that was okay).

The Existence of Scranton
Hasn't this been proven by The Office?

Joshua Miller = Unsung 80's Actor
He played the kid vampire in this and also notable rolls in River's Edge and Class of 1999 (it's better than it sounds). After being gone for years he's back, in a prominent supporting roll in the Wizard of Gore remake (which I loved and disagree with the negative review it got on

Three different shows with three different line-ups, none of which had Dillinger Four as the headliner, but had them playing both before and after bands I wanted to see.

…is my favorite De La Soul album. And equally underrated compared to their first three records as well.

A friend used to know some guys in an early 90's rap group called Black Male (they were actually signed to Rough House).

You see, that's my point.

I am, as a matter of fact, wearing Axe body spray, Phoenix. And that's all I'm wearing.

Midnight Marauders
Criminally underrated.

I Know These Guys are Well Loved by the "Punx," but
I've seen them live three times now (twice this year, opening for the Circle Jerks and then NOFX), and I find them…boring. Not bad, but not very memorable at all.

Live Eagle
One of the best (if not the best) current live acts around. They opened for (bleagh) Peaches in Philly and completely stole the show. The mouth breathers who booed them off the GNR tour don't know what they missed.
