I think 30 Rock has set high standards for itself, so people here tend to jump on it when it falls short of their expectations. I still look forward to it every week.

I like how excited Liz was to play.

You guys are way too hard on 30 Rock. The writing and pacing are crisp as always, although I agree Julienne Moore's accent is awful.

Tom is one of my favorite characters. It's a credit to Aziz that he can play such a slick, superficial (and at times insecure) character who is nevertheless affable.

Snape's points are well taken. I especially liked, "Tom's the only cool one here;" then they throw 'props' to each other.

I like him. He's cynical, but his (usual) self-assurance plays especially well against Leslie's naivete.

Ha…I missed the reference to their resentment of the department with the supermodel interns.

Coincidentally, Letterman quipped about a 'Daytime Nobel' tonight, but I didn't catch all of it.

It started strong with the dramatization of the creepiness of the fourth floor, recalling the petty bureaucratic folklore behind the hatred of the library department.

I appreciated the talkier, more subdued Seinfeld of seasons 1-3. Afterward, the show became more polished but was still well-done, until Elaine's hairstyle jumped the proverbial shark.

"Dum dum dum dum DUUUMMMM…"

"I need 5000 milligrams Niacin, STAT!"

Y'all are a a funny and thoughtful bunch.

Saw the Nightline piece
It's always amusing to see Scientologists get so irate when asked questions about Xenu and Thetans. You'd think they'd want to promote their 'theology.' That the interviewee regarded questions as belittling insults shows that the core beliefs of Scientology are themselves insulting.

Too bad you only got to touch River Phoenix 'physically.' To touch him mentally or metaphysically would give the story more punch.

Sounds like a perfect medium for more Tweet-peats.

OMG
THIS WILL BLOW 4 SURE. U RAACO?!!*

I concur, this is a fine effort from Mr. O'Neal.

It kept the hot side hot, the cool side cool, and the packaging companies busy.

Spinach! How inquisitive.
