Wait, you're only just now getting incredulous about Miami Metro’s inability to catch killers?   It's been clear for ages that crew, using all its resources, couldn't solve the TV Guide crossword much less a murder.

Vagrants with mannered speech, the scene felt like an outtake from O Brother Where Art Thou.  I was waiting for one of them to lean over and say "Gopher, Everett?"

How long before the political press starts making specious comparisons between this character and Rahm Emanuel?   I can't see how they can resist framing this show as a critique especially considering that Kelsey Grammer is an outspoken right winger.

Aping David Schwimmer……..GOT IT FROM ROSS.

One of my favorite movies.   Lopez was off my radar before that movie and was a revelation- smart, funny and sexy.  It took a while for my crush to wear off and see her for the dull, melodramatic diva she has been in every other film.  On the flip side, I hated George Clooney for his smug performance in ER but Out of

Black bear, alligator, rattlesnake, McRib….. Okay I'm kidding, had to spit out the McRib.

More accurately that's pretty geoduckish of him.  Over the years I've grown to prefer him to Bourdain.  When you are rich, famous white guy with a fantasy job there is just something unbecoming about his schtick: constant snark and world weary pontificating.  I much prefer Zimmern's geeky enthusiasm.

I didn't think there was a worse fate for that character than what happened to her in Alien 3 but having to appear on this show comes pretty close.

Can anyone tell me where I can buy that electric beard trimmer that automatically withdraws an inch and gives you a $500 haircut?

You're all wrong.   The most interts were Flo and Eddie.

Yeah.  When the hell did he morph into M Emmet Walsh?

That last voice over kills me every time, "Hill House has stood for 90 years and might stand for 90 more. Within, walls continue upright, bricks meet, floors are firm, and doors are sensibly shut. Silence lies steadily against the wood and stone of Hill House. And we who walk here… walk alone".

The joy of DLM is listening to Doug play off other smart, quick witted comics.  The Portland episode failed because he was stoned to point of incoherence and couldn't follow the thread of the conversation. However, one bad show of a podcast I usually enjoy is no big deal and I appreciate the fact that he owns it.

Somebody give a raise to whoever suggests Walter's incidental music for this show.  Tonight: Climax Blues Band's "Couldn't Get It Right"     http://www.youtube.com/watc…

Wow, I hadn't heard that.  If only Memphis' poor neighborhoods had also been washed away so Jason could feel safe.

I lived in Memphis for years and the city is still close to my heart.  I know most shows aren't shot where they're set and New Orleans is a much better facsimile than LA but by not shooting on location this show pissed me off way more than it rationally should have.

So is this is the hipster version where after a CGI gore explosion the protagonist rolls her eyes and says "Oh, is that a thing?"

No, it seems like anywhere within 50 miles of Philly is referred to as "Delaware Valley".

New Mexico?  Isn't that the state where the elderly are literally exploding in retirement homes?  Thanks Obamacare.
