Where did Tosh come from?
I've seen a few snippets of the show and, I agree, he's not McHale but he does give the show it's own distinct flavor (forgive the pun) from The Soup. So has he been on the comedy scene prior to this show?

I'm conflicted…
While I shudder at the notion of Radiohead striving to sound more like Muse… I love this quote: "I think new country is like five levels below music that you hear on commercials on TV. It viscerally upsets me, modern, new country."

Gotcha — thanks!

Cash On the Barrelhead…
Was that Dolly that Gram sang with? Coulda sworn it was Emmylou…but I don't know, I'm sure you did the research

Aqua Teen's best villain
I may be forgetting the name, but what about The Robotic Ghost of Christmas Past From the Future? I guess it wasn't especially 'killer', but it did deliver some pretty stellar lines.

"I also think Picaresque is their best work. I thought The Crane Wife was good, but a little patchy. "

Sigh
I found the leak of this a few weeks ago, and it definitely grew on me. I think his best tunes are his sparsest, but he still manages to execute on "Beware!"

Will we get to see a completed box?

OK, I'm going to save you the embarrassment of not getting the reference and let everyone from here on out know that the initial post was a very nice Arrested Development reference.

THAS A BIG GOAT!

MOTHERFUCKER! That is one of my most grating pet-peeves, folks mixing up "compliments" and "complements" and I did it in front of everyone. For shame!!!

Agreed. One of my favorite albums. Production too… I think "Far Far Away" is the best produced track I've ever heard, when it comes to balancing instruments and creating a mood complimentary to the song.

Mark delivers
Ghosts of the Great Highway is absolutely perfect. That needs to be made inarguably clear.

Utterly disappointed
I know it's been mentioned, but I had to make my own thread about how UTTERLY disappointed I am that Supercool was not on this list.

Hmm
In the nursery eh? I hope they used the Placenta Removal filter in Photoshop…no one wants to see that.

Thanks johnny…I will check 'em out

NEW SUN KIL MOON
THIS IS NOT A DRILL! The new SKM album is on their Myspace. I figured this was a fitting place to post this…it is FANTASTIC so far. More RHP-y then Ghosts of the Great Highway but I am enjoying the hell out of it on first listen.

Saw em open for Wilco
Low, that is. Was quite a snoozefest. But I don't want to pass judgment before I hear an album. Any suggestions on which Low album I should start with?
