The Show in General
I had a friend recommend this to me awhile back. Based on the fact that this friend and I normally do not see eye to eye on the definition of quality television and my distaste for westerns in general I didn't give it much of a chance. I half-heatedly watched the first two discs of season one

Famous director + large text with no narrative structure = joke

Four pages deep and no one has said anything…
I can't believe no one (and certainly not 5 people) have pointed out that Bo Jackson and Dion Sanders played FOOTBALL and baseball. Not basketball and baseball.

Apparently if I enjoy that movie, IMDB recommends the highly underrated Leather and Iron.

I've only ever been able to find them at Wal-Mart. They're almost as good as I remember but I have to agree there is just something wrong about the vanilla.

It's drinking
THE WATER!!

With the first season I liked it OK, but I disliked most of the secondary characters especially the brother-in-law who's name escapes me at the moment. During season 2 they made damn near everyone completely unlikeable but redeemed the brother-in-law. Season 3 and the the first disc of season 4 just seem to be

Personally Mr. Belvedere, I would have gone with, "I'm a white male, age 18 to 49. Everyone listens to me — no matter how dumb my suggestions are."

I don't think "No Children" was autobiographical, but I'm pretty sure the majority of the Get Lonely album is about John Darnielle dealing with a divorce.

______ Minus?
Is this movie so bad it transcends letter grades and simply gets a minus?

You know what Bill Cosby said about New Coke.

It would give me quite the fan-boy hard on if they got Jemaine from the Conchords to do his Bowie impersonation on the show.

The Real Ghostbusters
This was one of my faves as a kid. I was tempted to buy the full series boxed set when they released it last year. But I don't really feel like paying $180 for the crushing realization that the things I loved as a child really did suck.

Linkin Park's Extreme Makeover?
Color me intrigued. However could a magazine of this caliber fail?

Is it just me…
Or do a lot of Wes Craven's non-Nightmare films seem a bit "rape-y."

My Worst Experiences
My absolute worst movie experience was when I went to see Smokin' Aces. My girlfriend and some friends went out for sushi and sake bombers at a chain sushi place conveniently located next to the theatre. It was kind of a tradition to get a little too drunk and sober up during the movie. I

*"most my MY younger movie going experiences…"

I too saw Rocky IV at Valley West mall. However I was only 5 at the time. I think starting at the age of 4 my dad took me to every Stallone and Schwarzenegger movie released.
