I guess, sure, that's one way of seeing it, certainly. But the article made allusions to some sort of proof about that I was hoping for. I don't think there's enough evidence in the movie to make that assumption with any assurance. (I'm inclined to believe that, myself, but I was hoping for something concrete)

Guetta went off the rails. He showed banksy what he had done with the footage and it was insane, like, totally nonsensical. They show part of his edit in the movie. Banksy, thinking footage was important, stepped in to make some sense of what he recorded.
