I don't agree with this ^. I think they're like the Fall. They were born fully formed. Like it or GTFO. The fun is in picking out the slight differences on the record. Hearing the tweaks.

I think "you only live once" on FIOE and "Taken for a Fool" on Angles number among their best songs. Wish they had just combined those two albums into one all the way good album.
