Yeah Foggy doesn't ruin the show or anything. But it just feels a little bit like he's trying too hard to be comic relief, instead of just being comic relief. I'm crossing my fingers the actor and writers settle in as the season goes and turn down the volume just a smidgen.

There aren't enough big meaty moments. It's the same reason Jon Hamm never won over Bryan Cranston, even though I'd argue Don Draper's a much harder character to play and make compelling.***

Yeah, that Aderholt and Stan conversation is going to be read by the Rezidentura and lead to something right? Because while they never showed the Mail Robot, at the end of their conversation you could clearly HEAR the mail robot shuffling around nearby.

I also loved that Raylan, after throwing the tantrum in the back of Art's car and Art finally relenting, had this immensely satisfactory smirk painted across his face. It was part-appreciative, part-'I knew that would work, sucker' – and it cracked me up.

They need to put this show on Netflix.

@joe40001:disqus I would enjoy the Justified theme even more if these were the actual words – but it sounds so close to what's said, I wouldn't notice a difference.

Is there a "The Americans" podcast?

Take Five are severely underrated.

My response would be an even more emphatic "YES YOU SHOULD WATCH THE AMERICANS."

Trying to consistently out-mastermind your brilliant crime-solving mastermind is a bad strategy. It's hard to write a character that's A) More brilliant than everyone around him/her, AND 2) So smart the audience feels like he/she is the smartest person in the room.

Mostly agree. But for some reason, the episode at Watson's wedding worked really well for me. It was the one I dreaded going into it the most, but as a semi-bottle episode it carried itself pretty well.

No I know, sorry, didn't mean to make it sound like there HAS been. Nor was my comment a counter to yours – I'm in agreement.

I don't know if Bond "should" or "shouldn't" be anything.

Bichir in a Bond movie would be great. I'd love to see him as a good guy though. He's so weary looking, and carries himself with this dark weight. But there's something about the guy that isn't truly "dark" … there's a natural sense of goodness and humanity there that I don't think he can turn off.

I'd be fine if each Bond actor (3-5 movies) essentially gets their own standalone arc during their run. And the next actor (or actress, who knows!) comes in and gets a cool story to run with for a bit.

Once I Was an Eagle … I just could not get into. Still can't. The first 6-7 songs all sound the same, and rely on a variation of the same melody. And that little melody isn't all that interesting. It's a really impressive album, musically. Marling's got incredible talent, and even if I didn't find those tracks

This show, probably better than anything else on a screen right now, shows just how shitty being a real spy would actually be.

I think that @DackAttac:disqus, you nailed it.

Are they gonna go all "The Wire" on us, and have the ultimate lesson be, for all of Raylan and Boyd's efforts, you can't stop the cycle from repeating?
