Lawnmower is definitely up there just for sheer absurdity. The season 6 episode with tap-dancing Ken Cosgrove is also towards the top. I also really enjoyed Peggy stabbing her boyfriend with the broom-knife. (I'm certainly forgetting some from the earlier seasons too).

"I'm glad you mentioned having no interest in the social end of it, since that's my biggest bugbear with modern gaming."

"…certainly not someone who should be seen as a writer of science."

Is his work factually inaccurate? If it's not, why wouldn't he defend it's accuracy?

much more cleverer than the po "Embedded in your post is the idea that "regime change" in Iran is any of our fucking business."

I don't understand the backlash against Gladwell. The main criticism seems to often be what you stated here. It's been said he cherry-picks data, comes to conclusions that either aren't interesting or aren't well-supported.

"On Homeland, the CIA blithely assassinates public leaders and expects us to root for it."

Uncharted and whatever Naughty Dog does with The Last Of Us (or their next project, if it's unrelated) will be what starts giving me the itch to buy a PS4. Their track record from the PS3 is stellar.

Rubicon season 2!

That would have been fine.

How ballsy would it be if the only time he appeared in this season again was in the last episode, just ending his own life out of misery. He's stuck, Carrie's escape plan turned out terrible, and he'll be alone forever. So he just decides to be done.

And props to the writers for not shying away from that dumb stuff. They could have easily tried to move on and forget. But putting Carrie and Saul through the 'WTF were you thinking?' wringer is essentially the writers putting themselves on trial as well - can they explain the batshit decisions from season 2? And if

Then they'll reboot the series with a gritty prequel - Jurassic Park: Cretaceous Park.

Hm, this is a slightly disappointing review. I really liked Oryx and Crake, and loved Year of the Flood - and one of the reasons I loved it was because it made Oryx and Crake better. It made everything I had knew and learned deeper, and more interesting. I kind of hoped this would do the same. Maybe I'll wait a little

If you're ever in a vehicle motorcade with a CTU agent, and a helicopter as visual escort overhead, avoid all tunnels. That's a guaranteed abduction/escape through the maintenance door midway through.

Linder is the best part of this show, and the wandering quality that the Linder scenes possess are exactly how I'd like this show to feel more often. Less plot strings constantly pulling Sonya and Marco forward, more fo them just living and working in this bizarre world.

Clark's 'Holy shit I'm in deep with this lady and I have no idea how to get out' face > Claire Danes' cry face.

'Treats' was so much fun. And then their second album felt like they recorded it while in drunk purgatory - everything feels off, and you just want to stop feeling like crap. That's the vibe of that album.

That'd be alright, but I wouldn't mind letting The Bridge wander around a bit more, a la The Wire. It's such a vast, interesting world with so many levels to explore. I think I would enjoy letting those levels stand by themselves, without any need to tie it into a larger plot every single time.

Has Giamatti been anything less than terrifically watchable on film the last 10 years? Even when he's in duds, he's absolutely entertaining (Lady in the Water, for example). I think the guy is great,
