Wig-wearing, faux-sheepish US government worker Clark > Superman Clark.

Isn't it possible that the nurse "helping" his father was basically just making him comfortable while he died? Or maybe the nurse DID help fix Benson's dad, then he died shortly after for other reasons?

Yeah, it's like a redemption story that got turned off halfway through. No winning ascent that we got to root for, just the quick descent into pure selfishness.

This is for Nathan Ford's Evil Twin, but for some reason Disqus isn't letting me tag you.

Who?

No problem, enjoy the slow burn! I unfortunately do not have that kind of self control.

I totally buy this re: Michael's likability. But I think that SPOILER SPOILERS SPOILERS

I only really started getting annoyed in S3, when they started using his narration to spell out jokes that otherwise would have been great subtle gags.

I would buy it and hang it in my living room.

Wasn't the ridiculous komodo dragon pit in Skyfall campy enough? And the great Aston Martin reveal with the theme blaring?

You hadn't heard this album was coming out? What, have you been living in a box?

I'm absolutely in awe of Laura Marling's musical ability. "I Speak Because I Can" (the track specifically) was the first song I
heard by her, right after the album came out, and I was blown away. The shift from swaying melancholy, to the late uplifting bridge towards the end, and then the final build up is just

Speaking of, when are we going to get a review on the AV Club to talk about our new Arrested Development episodes?

Had not thought of that. I don't know if I totally buy it, but it's certainly possible. A flash forward like that doesn't seem like something Mad Men would do.

I loved Ginsberg's "I hate apples more," line when getting ready to throw the knife thing at Stan.

I'm OK with that. I love when performers put themselves out there and try something different, rather than relying on what they've done before (which Kanye could easily do and still be rich as fuck).

He's such a fascinating asshole. And he's becoming even more interesting because his weird insecurities tend to poke through in his music now, despite simultaneously pushing the ridiculousness to higher and higher levels. It's like 1% of him acknowledges he's kind of a sad lonely prick underneath all the bravado, but

In all seriousness, seeing his name attached turned me from 'meh' to 'oh I'd watch that!' I'm a big fan, and he excels with this kind of stuff. I wish they didn't make him walk the plank of the Bournce franchise.

Yep, definitely. Based on the trailer, this looks a little bit on the darker/serious side compared to Justified and The Americans (which, although serious, have moments of brevity woven into the show's tone).
