Totally forgot about those coordinates. That's frustrating.

They still haven't gotten around to asking her about BEING KIDNAPPED BY THE WORLD'S MOST-WANTED TERRORIST.

With how much this show enjoys keeping peoples' pasts chained to their characters, it would shock me if this didn't all start coming up in a future season. I hope it doesn't, because I don't want Carrie to turn into a constantly-tortured soul - she was clearly mixed up with Brody in the first season, and I was hoping…

24-isms this episode:
- "Good" guy who has done bad things going solo
- An attack on a U.S. intelligence office
- In which the acting person in charge dies
- Followed by the "You're the highest-ranking…you're in charge," deal (the only thing that was missing was random employees standing around, staring).
- I know I'm…

Yeah this was my issue. I thought his general logic was sound (My job is to kill people that will harm the country, not murder whoever the CIA feels like). But it seemed like the writers could have come up with some better dialogue than what they did.

You're missing a couple things though that point to Brody indeed doing it:
That shot of him going outside before meeting Carrie in the elevator.
After Nazir heli-captured him, we saw almost nothing. We saw him not tell the CIA about praying with Nazir, and that's about it.
As a writer, you probably don't show/not show…

Yep, he's great. He's been a rock through two seasons for this show.

A small part of me was hoping Brody would walk into the woods, the camera would cut to Carrie like it did, and then we'd just hear a gunshot and she'd know he had ended it himself.

I admire your attempt at explanation. I think the writers just didn't think this one through…just like seemingly 90 percent of this season.

Here's my issue with this: Why is he desperate? How many reports do we hear every other week about a drone strike killing innocent people, and we get worked up for a few days then forget about it.
