Yeah, they set the bar high with Mags last season. But they can't repeat that slow, menacing, maternal buildup again. We'd all complain it's too similar in character. Instead of trying to clear that bar,  it's smarter to just try something else with the next baddie.

Schwimmer was the biggest reason I had trouble getting into BoB while watching the first episode.

@avclub-494b77d419a5973451345e885407c848:disqus Yeah, I'm all for any story that gets Davies more involved. I was hoping they wouldn't kill him, because he's so much fun to watch on this show.

Raylan Givens is more fun to watch because Olyphant doesn't have to be subtly emotional like he did with Bullock. I think he's awesome as Raylan, but he struggled at times in Deadwood with some of the more nuanced acting he was asked to do. Raylan seems like he'd be more fun to hang out with, too.

I hope he pulls a coin out of Trump's ear every five minutes when he's trying to talk. And every time, I hope Penn reacts with the same giddy excitement that an easily-excitable 5-year-old does the first time they see the trick.

"I shouldn't have done this stupid deal with trader Joe."

Can someone explain to me in basic terms what exactly a manic pixie dream girl is, and why we give a shit?

I chose a bad time to figure out what that little snowflake feature on youtube videos does. Kind of kills the mood Inarritu was going for.

I didn't know they allowed wee brained Brits to commandeer spaceships. Who knew!

I missed last week's episode and told myself I would watch it later on demand. Then a few days after, I was sitting on my couch with nothing to do, and I said to myself, 'Well I could catch up on Hell on Wheels quick.'

2 was pretty shitty. The theme song was done by Limp Bizkit. That's all you need to know.

Could this be compared to Pirate of the Caribbean? The first movie a surprisingly fun, if not somewhat mindless romp, led by a quirky charismatic protagonist. Then the second film gets a ton of hype, the studio spends a bunch of money on it, and everything about the first film is magnified - so it turns into an

That's the one thing I enjoy most about this show: The cinematography. It's a beautiful show, and the crew has a real knack for striking visuals.

Never played these games but they look cool. That's all I got.

entirely about doing what had to be done because nobody else was willing
to do it (though that was likely the majority of it), but more a matter
of Rick showing that he and his crew weren't hypocrites.

It jogged my memory. I just thought it was a kid at first.

Shane is great because he's the only character in the group that feels dynamic and unpredictable. Everyone else so far (except for Hershel, who they've done a great job with) just seems to be there and doing things, and you can always kind of assume what type of action they will be doing next.
