Eska found out about the breakout so fast because she was scheduled to get married with Bolin that evening. He left her standing at the altar!

So far, their sheriff seems better!
I didn't even know Revolution was back until I saw the review listed here. A side effect of how much I watch NBC, I guess. It might pick up next week, since nuclear holocausts tend to get people talking. More people might realize it's back (and, so far, better).
Yeah. When last season ended, I was so glad it was finally over for me. I was even dumb enough to bet, "oh, come on! They'll never do it. In fact I'm so sure that if they let those nukes blow up the cities, I'll watch every episode of that next season."
Mad Max spent the entire first movie showing how civilization collapsed. I think they even use a voice over to explain it, if I recall correctly. I guess it's just that mundane catastrophes like naturally running out of petroleum always seem more engaging than elaborate high-tech catastrophes.
Why do the effects on this show look -so- much better than the ones on Grimm? I would expect both shows to have virtually identical budgets.
Wow, Rip van Winkle was so useless after sleeping for only 20 years and Crane remains surprisingly competent after over 200. Maybe getting you abdomen sliced in half is not quite as traumatic as drinking ghost whiskey.
The garments probably got stained with the horseman's blood too, so when the HH got restored back to life, the "linked by blood" clothes were restored back to life.
Same here and it was so unexpected. At the start of the season, I was sure that I'd give this 2 episodes before quitting it to devote all my attention to the Dome. I was sure I'd enjoy the latter 100 times more. I don't like "lost footage", I don't like fake reality TV, I hated The River, so I'm still perplexed that I…
That seemed odd at first, but then she said his name and it was the same camera man that she was blackmailing, so maybe he was about to get rid of her.
f) and one has to wonder if "PB hasn’t realized that a boyfriend is a bad idea for someone in her position of power" is a realization that she reached because of something Mr. Creampuff did, or if she realized it on her own and she did the breaking up because of that.
She was following up from "They're like my children," for which you could also say, "either they are, or they aren't."
@avclub-6947b1f0acc2fecdeeec83566e1fad4c:disqus We know that PB's age is related to her biomass, but to extrapolate that candy people's ages are related to their biomass is quite a stretch. Bubblegum (the treat, not the princess) and cooked dough have totally different properties when you try to add mass.
The way I saw it, she did not "become" Queen. She coup'ed the King and took his job, which was the job of "Fire King", not "Fire Queen".
Watching an episode occasionally is probably not enough to appreciate the development of the characters' friendship and how they help each other grow.
The reason being that society accepts watching Game of Thrones but rejects watching Start Trek for being nerdy and FiM for being little-girly.
Being old enough to remember Sailor Moon's original run, I'm not really OK with so easily dismissing its storytelling. Sure, compared to today's anime, it's not Shakespeare. Sailor Moon should be remembered in context of its time. If you look at the cartoons that were being produced at the time, Sailor Moon was an…
Those abstracts would be of value to someone with no practical Knowledge/experience of them for the same reason that they were more valuable than his own life for Kagame (and the French revolutionaries).
I was writing it in the included Chromium browser, but when I clicked on "post", it said that it couldn't because the cookies were not elevated or something, so I installed Google Chrome and pasted the text I had on the other browser. I looked at it top to bottom and it looked normal… So I guess copy/pasting from…
Sorry! It's my first day in Linux and it seems I have something to learn about how to format disqus posts.
